تعد لهذه الدراسة أهمية خاصة في جانبها العلمي والتطبيقي. وتبرز الأهمية العلمية من خلال اعتبار هذه الدراسة من الدراسات الحديثة التي تهتم بمعالجة أحد أخطر الظواهر الإجرامية على المستويين الوطني والدولي ، حيث تحاول هذه الدراسة سبر اغوار ظاهرة إجرامية غامضة ومؤرقة على کافة المستويات ، بهدف محاولة استجلاء هذه الظاهرة وکشف بعض الغموض الذي يعتريها. وتعد مصر إحدى تلک الدول التي تبنّت إصدار قانون خاص يجرم الإتجار بالبشر بکافة أشکاله وهو القانون رقم 64 لسنة 2010، الذي جاء وفاءً للالتزامات الدولية التي سبق وتم التصديق عليها .في الوقت نفسه، يأتي هذا القانون في ظل غياب أي وعي مجتمعي بتلک الظاهرة أو المشکلات الناتجة عنها والذي يجعل الکثيرين ينفون انتشار تلک الظاهرة في المجتمع المصري.
 
Abstract
This study is of special importance in its scientific and applied aspect. The scientific importance is highlighted by considering this study as one of the recent studies concerned with dealing with one of the most dangerous criminal phenomena at the national and international levels. This study attempts to probe the depths of a mysterious and haunting criminal phenomenon at all levels, with the aim of trying to clarify this phenomenon and reveal some of its ambiguities. Egypt is one of those countries that have adopted the issuance of a special law criminalizing human trafficking in all its forms, Law No. 64 of 2010, which came in fulfillment of the international obligations previously ratified. At the same time, this law comes in the absence of any societal awareness of this phenomenon or problems. resulting from it, which makes many deny the spread of this phenomenon in Egyptian society.
