هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد استخدام أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الأقسام التربوية والأدبية بکليتي التربية والآداب بجامعة الحدود الشمالية، لتکنولوجيا المعلومات، بداية بالتعريف بالأدوات التکنولوجية، وإدراک مدى استخدامها بين الهيئة التدريسية، ومدى اتاحة الجامعة لتلک الأدوات، وأثر تکنولوجيا المعلومات في زيادة القدرة التدريسية لهيئة التدريس في الأقسام التربوية والأدبية، وصولا إلى الخروج بمقترح تصور في هيئة توصيات ختامية واستخدم الباحث لتحقيق تلک الأهداف المنهج الوصفي المسحي، واستخدمت الاستبانة کأداة للدراسة، وکان من أبرز نتائجها: أن قطاعا واسعا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس لا يتعاملون بکفاءة مع تکنولوجيا المعلومات بالجامعة، ولا يدرکون جميع الأدوات التکنولوجية المتوفرة، إضافة إلى الحاجة الماسة إلى زيادة توطين التکنولوجيا والتدريب عليها لقطاع واسع من أعضاء هيئة التدريس، کما انتهت الدراسة بتصور مقترح لزيادة کفاءة أداء تکنولوجيا المعلومات تشمل التدريب والتحديث الدوري والتمکين الدائم للاستخدام کجزء متمم لجودة العملية التعليمية بجامعة الحدود الشمالية..
 
Abstract
This study aims to identify the patterns of use of the faculty members in the educational and literary departments in the faculties of education and arts at the Northern Border University for Information Technology, by introducing the technological tools and recognizing for the extent of their use among the faculty, the university's availability of these tools, and the impact of information technology in increasing the research and teaching capacity of teaching in the educational and literary sections, leading to the visualize the researcher to achieve those goals with apply the descriptive method, also used the questionnaire as a tool to study, the most prominent results: a wide segment of the faculty members are not dealing efficiently with the IT at the university, They are not aware of all the available technological  tools, the urgent need to increase technology localization and training for a wide range of faculty members, The study also concluded with a proposed scenario for increasing the efficiency of the performance of information technology, including training, periodical updating and permanent empowerment as an integral part of the quality of the educational process at the Northern Border University.
